During the first few weeks of the 2021 school year, 6A have been learning about growth mindset and how we all learn and grow from our mistakes.
This week we put our 'growth mindset' to the test when we used straws to learn about equivalent fractions. We were gentle with ourselves: acknowledging potential room for error; pushing through a tricky part (making sure the straws were cut equally); and just doing our best in cutting the straws and putting them together in order.
We really enjoyed making our 'Fraction Necklaces'.
