Homework is routine in all class programs and is fundamentally a revision of concepts covered in class. It is set regularly on a nightly basis, a weekly basis or over a number of nights per week. At the commencement of the school year, your child’s class teacher will notify you of the homework arrangements.
The following time frame provides a reasonable time expectation for homework. 
Year 1 5-10 minutes
Year 2 10-15 minutes
Year 3 15 minutes
Year 4 15-20 minutes
Year 5 20 minutes
Year 6 30 minutes
