Throughout term 3, 5/6E were learning how to evaluate and write news reports. By examining the use of a variety of language features, we were able to evaluate how news reports represent ideas and events in ways that intend to influence an audience.
We finished our Science research assignments about major volcanoes around the world. The children used their knowledge of volcanoes to give interesting presentations to the class.
In maths the students were working on fractions and decimals, converting different capacities and working on number patterns.
HASS was very interesting, as we learnt about what it is like to live in a democratic society.
