Yarning Circle

4/5E enjoyed working in the Yarning Circle

Bray Park State School has a brand new Yarning Circle.  It is not quite finished yet, but classes have already begun using it for their activities.

Year 4/5E used the Yarning Circle for their English lesson this week.  Their discussion was around the poem Waltzing Matilda and the students were singing the tune whilst they enjoyed the area.

Students report that it was lovely sitting under the trees and they enjoyed having 5 minutes with their eyes closed, listening to the birds, the wind in the treetops and the other sounds around the area.  They found it to be a very peaceful and relaxing area to work in.
