6A's Flying Start

To begin with, 6A would like to congratulate Nikki Putt and Marcus Callander on being our first students of the month.

Term one has flown. We have been concentrating on descriptive writing.  In particular we have been perfecting our “sizzling starts."

The class have loved studying “My Place” and been intrigued with the way that times have changed throughout the different centuries.
Before we new it, it was week six! Sarara entered our classroom and it was time for camp.  Sarara loved watching all the children have a fantastic time, doing all the once in a life time activities.  It certainly was a truly memorable camp.
Since we’ve returned, the class have hit the “afterburners”  writing biography’s on Henry Parkes and special journals to be placed in time capsules.
Our health assignment is proving to be extremely interesting and topical, getting the students to think about different reasons why children play sport.
Last but not least,  the class have loved doing art. We are currently working on a piece that is confidential.  It will be revealed at the art exhibition.  We can’t wait to see people’s reactions.
