Narragunnawali wins second place!

5/06/2015

Sing Loud! is a song competition that brings people together to make music about reconciliation during National Reconciliation Week (27 May-3 June).

Last year we won the schools section of this competition with our original song "Bring It On".

This year Mrs Speirs has been busy writing again and we have entered another original song "Narragunnawali".  Narragunnawali is an Aboriginal word belonging to the Ngunnawal people which means ‘peace, alive, well-being and coming together’.  We acknowledge the United Ngunnawal Elders Council for granting us permission to use this beautiful word. Our hope is that this word, along with its significant meaning, pervades the hearts and minds of many through the universal language of music.

Visit the Sing Loud! website, scroll down to find us and hit play.
