Koala Survey Day

18/10/2013
Can you spot the koala in our tree?

Bray Park are very lucky to have a koala population within the school grounds.  They are not always easy to spot, but they are usually around.

Each year we take part in Moreton Bay Regional Council's annual Koala Survey.  We take a walk around the school grounds and record the number of Koalas we find.  Data from the survey provides the council with information about Koala numbers within the Moreton Bay Region and assists with the planning of future conservation projects.

Everyone can take part in the survey.  Simply download a copy of the survery form from the website, then take a stroll around your backyard or through nearby parkland and record the number of Koalas you see.  Spot Koala's between 18 - 20 October this year.
