On Tuesday the 19th of April, the staff and students of Bray Park State School stopped to remember and honour those who served in battle to keep our country safe.  Many dignitaries from the local area also attended.

Children stood on stage to represent both indigenous and non-indigenous soldiers who sadly lost their lives during war.  The year 6 research team did a fantastic job investigating all about the Light Horse Brigade.  The choir and ukulele group performed beautifully.

At the end of the ceremony, student and community representatives presented wreaths of commemoration at the Anzac memorial at the back of the oval.
