6A are Unstoppable!

13/07/2017
Holidays? What holidays?
6A’s memories of the holidays are rather distant now that they’ve fully immersed themselves in their learning. They’ve hit the ground running and are unstoppable! The best way to be in their last semester of primary school.

Already, we’ve begun learning about earthquakes in our Science unit. We read about the awful disaster that happened in Newcastle in 1989. We’ve also been reading a story book called, ‘Sydney of the Antarctic’ as we are comparing it to the novel, ‘Bridge to Terabithia’ that we read last term. Once, we’ve finished comparing the adventure stories we will begin to write our own! In the land of Mathematics, we’ve been playing chance games and learning about expected and related frequencies. Our favourite game is ‘Cow Spotting’. It’s certainly been a great start back to term and we look forward to making the most of each and every day at school. There’s always so much to learn!
