4B News

Term 3 has begun and the students of 4B are excited!
One reason is because we are designing a display panel for the Pine Rivers Show. It is titled ‘I AM SAFE’ and will provide information on why ‘SAFE’ is an important part of our school rules.  We are writing poems and including other eye catching features.
Students are also excited about our learning this term.
In English we are studying the ‘procedure’ genre by reading and investigating the hugely popular book and movie ‘How to Train Your Dragon’.
Science is focussing on energy and forces. We will design and create games that highlight the different energy and forces and students will demonstrate their learning in a fun T.V. game show format called ‘Sixty Second Slam’. Year 5 students will be invited to participate in the game show at the end of term.
Technology will see the boys and girls design, construct and decorate a musical instrument from recycled natural products found in our area.
Mr Lambert is very impressed with the progress everyone has made so far and is looking forward to celebrating many more successes this semester. Congratulations from last term must go to our classmates who won the cross country race; became the athletic age champion; performed in the school band; sang in the school choir; performed in the school’s ukulele band; and participated in Bray Park Idol. Our school spirit is very much alive and well in 4B.
