One School, One Community, Each Child, One Team
We are "One Community" when we:
  • Invest in developing a sense of pride in ourselves (students, staff and parents) and our school.
  • Foster and promote emotional, creative, physical and academic potential of each student, staff member and the wider community.
  • Work collaboratively, share resources, acknowledge achievements and support each other in learning partnerships.
  • Utilise all aspects of the community to educate students.
  • Celebrate, share and profile our achievements in a variety of forums and
  • Create effective structures for community participation where unique contributions are respected.
We are "one School" when we:
  • Highlight and celebrate the achievements of students, staff, parents and our school as a whole
  • Recognise and utilise the individual and diverse talents of all through collaborative, coherent and consistent approaches to teaching and learning.
  • Develop mutual relationships through sharing ideas, knowledge and responsibility to foster the uniqueness of Bray Park State School.
  • Create an engaging environment for learning.
"Each Child" is valued when we:
  • Celebrate individual successes, both academic and social
  • Acknowledge the diversity of children's backgrounds and needs in planning and practice.
  • Provide supportive environment which encourages each child to have a go and experience success and self-worth
  • Take time to listen and provide a safe, supportive environment.
  • Empower students to set and strive for personal goals and develop attitudes for lifelong learning (Believe! Achieve! Succeed!) and
  • Provide opportunities to use initiative and take responsibility in the school and in the community.
We are "One Team" when we:
  • Encourage and build on positive achievement and take pride in the success of others
  • Welcome, orientate and support new team members.
  • Respect and value each other as a person and professional.
  • Communicate with all members of the school community and
  • Work together in teams.
